Childbirth Plan

Pay attention to your diet, level of exercise and relaxation to maximise health.

Seek advice and information about place of delivery and when selected search out supportive help.

Obtain treatment for specific health problems.

Think about homoeopathic, Chinese medical or other options to minimise difficulties during delivery and afterwards.

Who will you want at the actual birth? I would suggest partner/helper, midwife and perhaps one other. You don't have to invite the whole neighbourhood!

Arrange for at least a month of rest and recuperation afterwards so that you can be involved solely with the new baby (or as much as possible given your home situation).

Relax and enjoy the experience. Pregnancy and delivery is a normal, human event.
