Education and the provision of information is an essential part of the work of a holistic health-care practitioner. Giving written information to patients is a useful way of reinforcing the benefits of the consultation and treatment. It is unrealistic to expect patients to remember complex details of advice regarding exercise, diet and lifestyle.
