Support and Supervision for Practitioners
of Holistic Medicine
What is supervision?
Supervision is a way of supporting practitioners in their practice.
It provides help, information and advice for the more difficult
cases we face as practitioners. Perhaps you have patients who take
many and varied prescribed drugs or who have a more serious condition
than usual? For any of these situations which necessitate more effort
and time on your part, supervision can be an invaluable support
in your practice. Supervision can reduce the overall time taken
for treatment and the effort needed to achieve good results.
This is a new service that is innovative and groundbreaking. You
can have access to a conventionally trained doctor who practices
Chinese Medicine and is committed to providing support for holistic
practitioners in their treatment and case management.
What can you expect?
You will receive an in-depth discussion of the case with guidance
on how to deal with the use of prescribed drugs and interpretation
of conventional medical information. There will be an opportunity
to discuss specific issues of interest or concern. There will be
the availability of on-going support either with your original case
or with others.
Cost:
This will depend upon the time involved and the complexity of
the case or enquiry. You may need only one consultation for a specific
question or you may require in-depth follow-up for the duration
of the patients treatment. I can discuss your individual requirements
and needs with you including fees.
For simple 'one-off' questions perhaps about a prescribed drug,
an investigation and so forth there is no charge.
